For Fatumbi Ojuobá
Come shine, a divine gift
Under Ifá's guidance, the child of destiny is born
And with the island, it crosses the sea
The ship is a slave ship, oh oh oh
And coming along are the orixás
To rise up our sacred grounds
In the Yoruba nagô culture, oh oh
It gives itself completely
And crowned babalaô
White man, sorcerer
Black cries, black laughs, love, love
Black is a race, black is a shout
Black is so beautiful
Fatumbi captured it
Jubiabá
And with Jubiabá in memory
It changes its path, comes away
And from Bahia makes its song
Becomes a child of the saint, of the mother lady
And its work in candomblé
