Caravels to the sea, expedition
Thank you Cabral, what emotion
Land in sight!
The dawn of this nation
The indigenous, the fauna, the flora
Paradise of charm and seduction
In this encounter with the Portuguese
Such a divine moment
Each became a brother
Praying the mass
Everyone in communion
Brazil, you are no longer a child
And following my destiny
Wherever it may be
I rediscover you every day
In the greatness of your people
And in your promising land
It's beautiful to see
Your flag waving high
And share this joy with the crowd
Peace, love, and hope
A voice announced
The new era has arrived
