Counting Days (열 손가락)
Urban Zakapa
Counting Days (Ten Fingers)
Collapsing under the midday heat
Give me water
When I look up at the sky again
A gentle breeze blows in my heart
Now that I've become too much of an adult
I go without carrying any wounds
The memories that have rooted down
Are all my pieces
Folding each of my ten fingers
Counting and enduring each day
All the tears you shed for me
Turn into earth and water to lift me up
As the sun sets, I stand in that spot
Thinking of you, who I miss
It's okay, even if this night is a bit long
Morning will definitely come
Folding each of my ten fingers
Counting and enduring each day
All the tears you shed for me
Turn into earth and water
Now trapped in the dark night
I don't wander through the long dawn like anyone else
The past memories
Will someday become rain and poetry
Folding each of my ten fingers
Counting and enduring each day
All the tears you shed for me
Turn into earth and water to lift me up
