Ni Dada La Quiero
Valentín Elizalde
I Don't Want It Even for Free
I put up a sign
on the humble but honest house I gave you
it only says it's for sale
because I don't want to know anything else about you
Just as I hung it up
a buyer came to my side
he came ready to negotiate
and I told him I'm selling it cheap
because the ungrateful one deceived me in it
who never knew how to appreciate my love
I saw fear reflected in his eyes
he didn't say anything
guarded the money
turned around and I heard him say
just like mine
just like mine
I don't want it even for free
Just as I hung it up
a buyer came to my side
he came ready to negotiate
and I told him I'm selling it cheap
because the ungrateful one deceived me in it
who never knew how to appreciate my love
I saw fear reflected in his eyes
he didn't say anything
guarded the money
turned around and I heard him say
just like mine
just like mine
I don't want it even for free
