Wandering Dove
Like a wandering dove, with no fixed course or direction,
I sail and cross rivers and seas without peace, shelter, or protection.
From south to north like a bohemian, I crossed the homeland where I was born,
Seeking shelter, happiness, and solace
All in vain, poor me.
I lost my parents when I was a child,
And in this world, I am left alone,
Since that moment, I wander aimlessly
And will rest until the grave.
I have no parents,
Children, or siblings
And not even the love of a woman,
I am so unfortunate in this world,
That I cry alone in my suffering.
I had children and they left me,
I had parents and I lost them,
I had women and they deceived me,
There's no one to pity my pain.
I raise my prayers to the sky,
To calm my suffering,
Oh eternal God, do not abandon me,
Give me happiness and a future.
I have no parents,
Children, or siblings
And not even the love of a woman,
I am so unfortunate in this world,
Oh eternal God, do not abandon me,
Give me happiness and a future
