Um Adorador (feat. Sidney Almeida)

A Worshiper (feat. Sidney Almeida)
It's not always easy to understand Your will
Clashes with my ability to comprehend
Then comes the question: Why?
And when everything starts to make no sense
I look around and no longer see reasons to continue
And fear comes
And the desire to stop
And I remember that I'm a worshiper
A worshiper
And I don't worship You for what the Lord does
But despite the circumstances
Finds in me a true worshiper
A worshiper
In season and out of season
In joy or in suffering
I will worship, Lord
Oh, I will worship You
And even if it doesn't happen my way
Teach me to understand why I'm imperfect
And only the Lord knows what's best (knows what's best)
And if I question Your will
Remind me that I'm a worshiper
A worshiper
And I don't worship You for what the Lord does
But despite the circumstances
Finds in me a true worshiper
A worshiper
In season and out of season
In joy or in suffering
I will worship, Lord, oh
Holy, You are holy
And no matter what happens
You will forever be worthy
And very worthy of praise (worthy of praise)
Declare, then, that He is
Holy, You are holy
And no matter what happens
You will forever be worthy (oh, He is, oh, He is)
And very worthy of praise (oh)
Hallelujah, You are worthy, Lord
In the most famous prayer in the world
Taught by our Christ
Jesus teaches us to ask for something that reflects
What we are singing here, now
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
And that's good, because according to Romans XII
God's will is good, perfect, and pleasing
But the conflict in our minds begins
When we realize that the will that is
Good, perfect, and pleasing, allows you to suffer
(My God)
When the will that is good, perfect, and pleasing
Allows you to cry, then you wonder
How am I going through what I'm going through
If I'm exactly in the center of God's will?
We don't understand, love
That pain is part of the purpose (oh glory)
In fact, God will never give pain without purpose (hallelujah, God)
As a wise man said, God doesn't waste suffering
On the life of a child (oh, hallelujah)
Because for us, suffering is pain, sadness, and tears
But for God, it's a tool (glory to God, hallelujah)
So where's the good side of suffering?
God uses it to refine us (glory to God)
God uses suffering to prepare (glory)
To mature (oh hallelujah), what we don't understand
Is that no one matures smiling
Maturity is born in the womb of pain
But rest assured, God is in control (oh hallelujah)
God does what He does because He is who He is
You know what? Pain doesn't kill (hallelujah)
When God is present, and I'll say more
All things work together for good
For those who love God, so enough
Enough of living a life of whys
Why am I suffering? Why did the door close?
Why doesn't God speak to me?
Today is the last why of your life
And it will be the why of Psalm 42 (oh hallelujah)
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him (oh)
From now on, you will remember
That you are a true worshiper (oh hallelujah)
In sadness or in joy
Raise your hands where you are and sing!
Holy, You are holy
And no matter what happens
You will forever be worthy
He is, oh, He is, very worthy of praise
A worshiper, a worshiper
And I don't worship You for what the Lord does
But despite the circumstances
Finds in me a true worshiper
A worshiper
In season and out of season
In joy or in suffering
I will worship, Lord
(A worshiper, a worshiper)
And I don't worship You for what the Lord does
But despite the circumstances
Finds in me a true worshiper
A worshiper
In season and out of season
In joy or in suffering
I will worship, Lord
Oh, hallelujah, glory to God!
