Absurdo
Vanessa da Mata
Absurd
There was so much to tell you
Nature
Changed the form, the state, and the place
It was absurd
There was so much to show you
It was so beautiful
But look at the mess it's in now
Rich carpets of leaves and flowers
The world's floor is swept here
This idea of the natural being dirty
Of the inorganic not being made
Destruction is a reflection of the human
If inhuman ambition the Being
This infertile image of the desert
I never thought it would come to this
Self-destructive
False harmful victims?
There was so much to enjoy
Without power
So many stories, so many flavors
Golden grasses
There was so much to breathe
It was so pure
In those rivers we used to bathe
They clear everything and complain about the weather
What a conflicting irony to be
Imbalance that feeds the pests
Altered grain, altered bread
We dirty rivers, we depend on the waters
It doesn't matter the violent means
Lust is the ethics of the living perverse
Dead for money
Colors, so many colors
Such beauties
Are gone
Verses and stars
So many fairies that I didn't see
False goods, progress?
With the mother, ingratitude
They gave the henhouse
For the fox to watch
