His blood is draining, quietly moving

I see the crowd shouting, others applauding
The scene so cruel!
The cross splattered with blood, coming closer
The Son of God!
His silence is like a scream, the Blessed Christ
Never complained!
The cross was my place but out of love for me
He gave Himself up

I've walked through the cross and realized how much He loved me
I saw everything I couldn't bear, for loving me Jesus endured
Calvary, such a sad place! Where my Jesus died
