Homens de Deus

Where there are men who pray
The church is different, God pours out His glory
There's anointing in the lives of believers
A wise and consecrated pastor
Takes care of the flock very well
I see the power of God here
When I look at the altar, I see men of God
I know that men of God are here

This man that the Lord has placed in this place
Is anointed, blessed, and consecrated
I know he prays and God answers quickly
I know there's a man of faith here
I know God works when he prays
When he speaks, he has authority
I know there are men of God here
I see true workers here

But where there are men of God, there are blessed people
There's the word, teaching, and the Lord's anointing
I see men of God here in this place
There are blessed workers for God to use

The Bible gives examples of consecrated men
Blessed men whom the Lord used
David was chosen to be a king
But before that, God found him as a shepherd
Elijah was fearless, a man of fire
God spoke to him inside the cave
God counts on you, valuable worker
Rise up, for the work on this land is great

But where there are men of God, there are blessed people

I see men of God here in this place
There are blessed workers for God to use

Speaking of Elisha, I am amazed
At the boldness the Lord gave him
He prophesied food for Samaria
Multiplied oil in God's anointing
I see John the Baptist who didn't give up
Preferring death over surrender
And as in the past, God has many men
Anointed and consecrated for Him to use

But where there are men of God, there are blessed people
There's the word, teaching, and the Lord's anointing
I see men of God here in this place
There are blessed workers for God to use

I am very happy when I arrive at a church
And see workers full of God's anointing
I remember Daniel, Job, and Samuel
I remember all His disciples
The men the Lord raised up on earth
To make a difference, anointed men
I know there are anointed workers here
Consecrated men to overcome the enemy

There are valiant ones like Peter, loving ones like John too
Consecrated like Daniel, obedient like Samuel
Courageous like Gideon, blessed like Abraham
Of authority like Paul, there are men of fire like Elijah too
Confident like Stephen, there are, and faithful to God like Job too
A dreamer like Joseph, I know there are men of anointing and faith here
And like Ezekiel who, to hear the voice of God
Anointed, then stands up

But where there are men of God, there are blessed people

I see men of God here in this place
There are blessed workers for God to use
