My Way
The end is near, I will wait for it serenely
You see, I have been like this, I will tell you sincerely
I lived the immensity, without ever knowing borders
I played without resting, and in my way
I never lived a love that was important to me
I only picked a flower and the best of each moment
I traveled and enjoyed, not sure if more than anyone else
Although all this was my way
Maybe I cried or maybe I laughed, maybe I won or maybe I lost
Now I know I was happy, that if I cried I also loved
I can go on until the end... My way
Maybe I also cried when I was having the most fun
Maybe I despised what I didn't understand
Today I know I was firm and faced being as I was
And so I managed to live but in my way
Because you will know that a man in the end
You will know by his way of living, there is no need to talk
Or to say, or to remember, or to pretend
I can go on until the end, my way
