Escuché Las Golondrinas
Vicente Fernández
I Heard The Swallows
I heard the swallows as I left
It was a simple coincidence of destiny
There were moments when I wanted to run away
Forgive and return for their love
But I was able to overcome the cowardice
And although sad, I continued on my way
With a lump in my throat from the sorrows
I ended up in the corner of a bar
To unleash my sadness
With songs and bottles of tequila
And despite the continuous drunkenness
I feel the disastrous goodbyes in me
That's why when I hear the swallows
They always make me remember those days
There are disastrous moments in life
And that piece among mine is one of them
I carry my soul on a sea of feelings
My wounds still haven't healed
That radio played at the worst moment
The song that emphasizes farewells
Rejecting the one I loved for so long
I know I will regret it as long as I live
That's why when I hear the swallows
They always make me remember those days
There are disastrous moments in life
And that piece among mine is one of them
