El Embustero

The Liar
I'm from that neighborhood where poverty is loved
Where people are pure heart
Where dreams are sometimes the wealth
Where one cries but loves passionately
Here the rich fight over pennies
And I take their pesos in one pull
To share among the race I love the most
I'm a liar but I have my reasons
They call me the liar, the bungler, the joker
But I'm proud that among the bad, I'm the best
I come from a humble background, I'm also a good troubadour
Not of bad feelings, but when it comes to bad, I'm the worst
Here the rich fight over pennies
And I take their pesos in one pull
To share among the race I love the most
I'm a liar but I have my reasons
They call me the liar, the bungler, the joker
But I'm proud that among the bad, I'm the best
I come from a humble background, I'm also a good player
Not of bad feelings, but when it comes to bad, I'm the worst
