Vida da Poeta

My poet's life I lead traveling,
I'm on the road singing,
At peace with life and far from loneliness,
Every shadow has a stage to sing on,
To compose the music, to make the rhyme,
To speak of God in my song.

I live free from this world like a hummingbird,
Sowing peace, planting love,
Harvesting hope to survive.
I don't carry with me the malice of those out there,
Knocking others down to rise,
Without thinking of the fall when they come down.

I don't have greed,
I don't want wealth that changes my ego,
In difficult times, I cling to God,
I walk with God, I am too happy.

I am a poet, I am a singer,
I am a bird, from the nest to the world,
From the world to the nest.
I don't live for war, nor do I die without peace.
