I woke up early, gathered the cattle
Faith in my chest and feet on the ground
My old car sang on the road
And the red dust rose from the ground
In a slow step, set out on the journey
For the pilgrimage of devotion

I'm a pilgrim who walks
I'm devoted to the Lord
Walking to the Holy Land
Old Trinity of faith and love

To go to the land of the Eternal Father
My journey lasted many days
I worked hard the whole year
Made my plans for the pilgrimage
Asked the angels to illuminate my steps
And the Eternal Father to be my guide

Seeing from afar its sanctuary
Sacred temple in the form of a cross
Where the Father made His dwelling
The Holy Spirit and His Son Jesus
With my praises to arrive again
In the Holy Land covered in light
