Por Eso Estoy Aquí
Victor Manuel
That's Why I'm Here
Because I lack the strength to get out of the way,
Because my voice breaks when I want to give advice,
Because I'm never sure if what I want is good,
Because since I was a child, I've been a dream chaser,
That's why I'm here, that's why I'm here.
Sometimes it makes me sad to know when to keep quiet,
And my tongue is broken from biting silences so much.
Sometimes I say 'I wish' but it's carried away by the wind,
And I feel alien to a world that neither understands me nor do I understand.
But I'm still here, but I'm still here.
Sometimes I lend a hand and sometimes I avoid the issue,
And my drug is work, family, and some book.
And I always have a good friend who gives good advice:
'Worry about your own things and send the rest away'.
But I'm still here, but I'm still here.
Because I don't have the courage to pick up a rifle
And fix things and make a happy world,
Because I was made this way, because I don't have to,
And I'm ashamed to be a coffeehouse leftist.
That's why I'm here, that's why I'm here.
