There's A Rainbow
Vincent Blue
There's A Rainbow
Waking up to this morning without opening my eyes
I pray for my tired self
Putting on yesterday's clothes again
Another day tries to soothe me
Everyone's still heading the same way
Like clock hands spinning without a sun
On that endless road over there
I barely pass a single dot, and my day begins
Familiar faith comes down
A dull excuse that just drags on
Carving out the worn-out me
And burying everything deep in my heart
Somewhere in the fiery sunset glow
My words that I tried to hold tightly
If I endure these days that feel like they might go out
Will I get closer to the dream that felt like hope?
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Will the weary night stretch on?
The rainbow will rise again
Everyone's still heading the same way
Like clock hands spinning without a sun
On that endless road over there
I barely pass a single dot, and my day begins
Today, I'm still chasing the rainbow.
