The colors of April
The indigo airs
The world opened up in bloom
And a thousand birds
In the flowers of April
Flying and making love
The gentle song
Of those who saw you well
In a heartbreaking cry
Don't cry, you heard me
That the colors of April
Don't want to know about pain
Look at how much beauty
Everything is pure vision
And nature turns life into a song
It's me, the poet, who says
