We have been invited
To a grand banquet,
There will be ice cream for dessert,
They will give us sorbets.

They have sacrificed young calves
To prepare an official dinner,
A lot of money has been authorized
But they promise a masterful menu.

Quite particular,

They invite us to converse.

The chefs are well-known,
They will offer us their new recipes.
The stew seems somewhat overcooked,
