Saga de Severinin
Vital Farias
Saga of Severinin
I ask for the attention of the gentlemen
For the story I'm going to tell
I speak of Severinin, a very popular farmer
Who lived in a hut
And cultivated a field near Taperoá
And Severinin plowed the soft land every day
And plowed land is poetry
He works with his hands in the land
Climbs this hill, cuts this ground
Plant that plant bridge
Plant cotton over these hills
Severinin lived happily
Filling his eyes with goodness
And even the plantation was beautiful in bloom
And by his side his companion
Had his love
But as the saying goes and as one would expect
After everything was planted
The landowner asks Severinin to vacate
There were even ripe fruits
Pumpkins sprawling in the yard
And there was even a little bird
Who besides being his neighbor
Became a great companion
So much uncertainty arrives
The soul trapped wants to break free
Fight, fight alone
What is the way to liberate
Severinin was left alone and lonely
He couldn't bear the ingratitude
He ran to the south
And then the construction was seen
Once and for all
Once and for all
To collapse
