I opened my Bible to John 20
And I came across Mary Magdalene crying at the King's tomb
She lifts Her head, wiping Her tears, Her eyes She opens
And where is the Master's body? Hey, two angels Mary saw

And they asked her: Mary, why are you weeping?
And She answered: It was because the body of My Baby Jesus was there
But His body is gone, gone, His body is no longer there

Then, Maria turns back, I believe, already ready to leave
That's when Yeshua appears and asks her: Mary, why are you crying?
Mary, why are you looking for Me? Mary, do Me a favor
Do not look for me among the dead, because I am alive
Go there and tell your brothers so they can start smiling, Maria
Tell them it's not over yet, tell them I've conquered death

So, Maria, without wasting time, went
Towards the disciples, She ran
And when she got there, she said: Everybody sit down there
Because I'm going to tell you what happened

The earth shook, the tomb opened
And nothing will overcome His great love
Oh, death, where are you? The King is risen
He won forever
