Castelo Forte

Jesus looked at me, and with his gentle voice he said to me
Do not fear, I am with you, I am your friend, I am your protector
I then felt safe, he delivered my soul from anguish and pain
That's why today I sing, I praise my Lord

Strong castle is on the rock
In it I can finally take shelter
If he is with me I do not fear death
I am safe, Christ is my strong castle

When I feel weak, on the shores of failure I pray
And then I seek in the Bible the strength I need to continue
Help comes from above, the presence of this friend
His name is Jesus, he takes me by the hand
He gladdens my heart, brings me salvation
