Flores de Maio

May Flowers
I washed my eyes with dew drops to see her arrive
With May flowers I covered the path for her to step on
I turned myself into poetry in a rhyme that can endure
I asked the stars for a brighter shine to illuminate
Because she is mine, and I am hers,
Because she is mine and I am hers
In my thoughts full of mysteries I see her arrive
Hair in the wind, a lament in her mouth that I want to kiss
And like in a dream I spin with her in the palm of my hand
So beautiful, so lovely, dancing so freely in my heart
Because she is mine and I am hers
Because she is mine and I am hers
In my thoughts full of mysteries I see her arrive
Hair in the wind, a lament in her mouth that I want to kiss
And like in a dream I spin with her in the palm of my hand
So beautiful, so lovely, dancing so freely in my heart
Because she is mine and I am hers
Because she is mine and I am hers
