If life were as easy as we want
If we could predict the future
I would be now having a coffee
Sitting with friends in front of the TV

I would look at the birds like I never did
I would give a tight hug to my grandparents
I would say I love you to those I never thought
Maybe that's what the universe expects from us

I want to be healed and help heal
I want to be better than I ever was
Do what I can to help myself
Be fair and patient like Jesus was

I want to value even the warmth of the Sun
That I am prepared for whoever guides me
That I be eternally like a sunflower
Back to the dark and facing the light
