Patagonia

Patagonia
We left early to an unknown world
You went back to sleep, I caressed your hair
We woke up confused beyond the silence
In a dream of rust and lost lighthouses
Like sea lions among the current
We fell to the edge of a barren desert
We walked glaciers over eternal rivers
And we made plans towards infinity
We ran trails to the highest peak
I said let's go back, it's very dangerous
Getting lost wouldn't be so bad, we thought
But coming back and telling the tale will be wonderful
We fell in love after millions of years
In the midst of a wild penguin orgy
I said I'll stay by your side forever
Whatever comes, whatever happens
We caught the moon kissing the volcanoes
Riding the back of a fire snake
On a ship loaded with present and future
We took off our gloves and challenged the wind
We descended to the deepest of the world
Where the brightest light of the forest is born
And we drank from the brew of the unknown
In a dream of blues and lost fields
And upon returning, the same set
But with a completely different script
The same faces, the same paths
Now everything is the same but nothing is the same
Now everything is the same but nothing is the same
Everything seems the same but everything is different
Now everything is the same, nothing will be the same
Everything seems the same, now everything is different
Now everything is the same but nothing is the same
Everything seems the same but everything is different
Now everything is the same, nothing will be the same
Everything seems the same, now everything is different
Now everything is the same but nothing is the same
Everything seems the same but everything is different
Now everything is the same, nothing will be the same
Everything seems the same, now everything is different
