My God, how I miss my Northeast
I feel like going back to my place!
To see again, my dear
Alagoas, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Piauí and Ceará!
I want to see my friends from Sergipe
And in Bahia, I also want to stroll!
In Maranhão and Rio Grande do Norte, I want to see
The fire descending and the people glorifying God!

The North is a good land to live and the people sing in sadness and joy!

I want to see God end hunger!
