La Muñequita

I have a little doll like this
From Paris she came for me
She has a pretty hat
And also a pretty veil

I stand her up and she doesn't fall
She says mama and papa (mama!, papa!)
But one day, for no reason
She slipped and fell

Her face broke
And also a little toe
I took her to a doctor
Who healed without pain

The little doll cried and cried
And I cried too
Only after she healed
I played, played and played
