La Ley de La Vida
Yeison Jimenez
The Law of Life
One is valued by what they have
Unfortunately, it's the law of life
They gift you if you have assets
You bring a horse and they offer you the saddle
To do you a favor, they solve it for you
They go first and take your measurements
Nobody sells a horse as good
Nor do they get rich by staying poor
He who has ambition for what's others'
And it's the same in love
By leaving you with something bad they gave you
Because nobody likes betrayals
You can believe me that I feel your sorrows
Even though my feelings don't help you
I can give you a few coins
But I can't remedy your bitterness
And there you go, in whatever direction you want
Because in the end, your life is yours
I once predicted your destiny
And I said it just for fun
And it seems like I'm a fortune-teller
Everything turned out as foreseen
You didn't end up marrying me
And I don't think you'll die married
You can believe me that I feel your sorrows
Even though my feelings don't help you
I can give you a few coins
But I can't remedy your bitterness
And there you go, in whatever direction you want
Because in the end, your life is yours
