Potranca de Corral
Yeison Jimenez
Corral Mare
You think you're a wild mare in the plain
That you're more beautiful and more gorgeous than any
That no one has been born to tame your beauty
That your fierceness needs a good rider
It's not the first time I face this problem
And serious mares have been known to tame me
With the whip, every saddle straightens out
Those quirks are handled in the round pen
And to tell you the truth
To me, you're a gentle corral mare
One of those that test the rider without being ridden
But in the end, they have to adjust
And to tell you the truth
I don't pay homage to an animal
That likes to be of breed and in the end
Even without a bit or saddle, they let themselves be caressed
It's not the first time I face this problem
And serious mares have been known to tame me
With the whip, every saddle straightens out
Those quirks are handled in the round pen
And to tell you the truth
To me, you're a gentle corral mare
One of those that test the rider without being ridden
But in the end, they have to adjust
And to tell you the truth
I don't pay homage to an animal
That likes to be of breed and in the end
Even without a bit or saddle, they let themselves be caressed
