Ano Natsu Ni Sake
ヨルシカ (Yorushika)
Blooming in the Summer
When you touch, even just a flower, it blooms with a smile inside
Imitating you, sitting shyly
The last bus time is over
As usual at the bus stop, you had a cider
Even that seems to suit you well
I, a humble writer, was sketching that scenery
The bus that disappeared before I could sit next to you is running away
After writing and writing, what I finally gained was envy and condescension
I kind of want to forget it all
When you touch, even just a flower, it blooms with a smile inside
When you climb, even the clouds fly clearly
If you're there, even boring days are nothing special
But the grand summer when you were there, goodbye
Asking for a response, over
In the rain by the roadside, you were standing
In your hand, a red
Cattleya
The water droplets you shed were flowing like a summer shower
Even though you were crying, your hands were moving
Without saying a word
I was sketching that face
After understanding, it's pain and futility
It's kind of ridiculous
Because I was satisfied, I drop the excess and start to hate it
Even though I'm not mature enough to say it was okay
There's no place for me in the gap of the bus where you board
Only the imagination of you being there is cherished
Another incomplete day, over
When you walk, flowers bloom
When you walk, the sky sings
When you smile, a distant summer
I want to try drawing that smiling face
If I could tell you, who's crying in the summer shower
If I could go back to that summer once again
I want to know why you can't stop crying
If I touch you, let's talk about something random
Because you were there, even boring days are nothing special
Smiling at you, sitting shyly
The last bus time, over
