Turned into Shadows
What a strange light floats in this foggy night
Where do the shadows of the street trees lead?
My fingers hurt from dialing without a break
But only the ringing echoes deep in my ears
At times like this, I quickly mess up my wardrobe
Pick out a worn-out shirt
And head outside, slightly hunched
Let’s walk like we’re dancing
The last train’s sound lingers as it fades away
Like the most nostalgic distant memory
The paper cup I hold in my chilled palms
Is filled with thin coffee from the donut shop
At midnight, everything feels unsticky
And yet, it’s gentle
Once, I definitely met a wish somewhere
It sets you free from a lonely heart
Lightly straightened out
Once, I definitely met a wish somewhere
It sets you free from a lonely heart
Lightly straightened out
What a strange, what a strange foggy night
Where do the shadows of the street trees lead?
