Arco-íris da Vida

I saw it in a dream in a distant corner
A light that came down from the sky
Much clearer than the light of dawn
When the morning sun tears the veil
A ladder touched the clouds
And for her a great multitude
And she came with tearful eyes
And the armies of some mighty ones
On my knees asking for forgiveness

Rainbow of life
Extend my years
I want to live more
God at peace with men
With God I live in peace
But the peace of the world
The man undoes

I saw a man descend on a cloud
With a golden scepter in his hand
His voice shook the mountains
In the words of a holy sermon
In a clear voice this world said
For God it became very strange
No one wants to follow my law anymore
But I'll be back soon
To be able to choose my flock

Rainbow of life
Extend my years
I want to live more
God at peace with men
With God I live in peace
But the peace of the world
The man undoes

I woke up hearing the words
Sent from the holy shepherd
Half in doubt about everything I wrote
This proof of peace and love
One thing I'm sure of
That we are very close to the end
Why not redeem our guilt?
Apologizing to each other
And together we sing like this

I tried to find out who it would be
This man of so much power
That calmed the fierceness of the winds

Her hair fell to her shoulders
