Arco-íris da Vida

I had a dream in a distant corner
A light descending from the sky
Much brighter than the dawn light
When the morning sun breaks the veil
A ladder touched the clouds
And through it a great multitude
Came with tearful eyes
And the armies of some powerful ones
On their knees asking for forgiveness

Rainbow of life
Prolong my years
I want to live longer
God in peace with men
With God I live in peace
But the peace of the world
Man undoes

I saw a man coming down on a cloud
With a golden scepter in hand
His voice shook the mountains
In the words of a holy sermon
In a clear voice he said this world
Has become very strange to God
No one wants to fulfill my law anymore
But soon I will return
To be able to choose my flock

Rainbow of life
Prolong my years
I want to live longer
God in peace with men
With God I live in peace
But the peace of the world
Man undoes

I woke up listening to the words
Sent by the holy shepherd
Half in doubt, I wrote everything down
This proof of peace and love
One thing I am sure of
That we are very close to the end
Why not redeem our faults
Apologize to each other
And united we sing like this

I tried to find out who would be
This man of such power
Who calmed the fierceness of the winds
And made the mountain tremble
His hair fell on his shoulders
His eyes shone in the light
There is the faithful answer
The place I dreamed of is Bethel
And the man is surely Jesus
