Carne e Osso
Zélia Duncan
Flesh and Bone
Joy of sin sometimes takes over me
And it's so good not to be divine
Covering myself in humanity fascinates me
And brings me closer to heaven
And I like being on earth more and more
My mouth opens and waits
For the right, even if profane
For the world to always be more human
Too much perfection stirs my instincts
Whoever claims to be too perfect
Surely found a bland way
To not be flesh and bone, to not be
