Aurora do Mundo
Zilo e Zalo
World's Dawn
Who had the loves I had in life
Are people who understand sorrow and pain
And know for sure that a sweet caress
Sometimes is a thorn in the form of a flower
Suffering here in the city
The crazy longing for a certain love
I sought the remedy for the longing mind
In the pleasant life of the countryside
I crossed the savannas, plateaus, and mountains
Towards the lands of Minas Gerais
I saw flowery fields and beautiful sceneries
And heard the canaries in the macaw palm trees
Distant smokes in the blue horizon
On the mountain slope, forming spirals
I saw everything I love in tranquility
But my longing was still more
I spent a night at the Friendship Ranch
And saw in the longing the beginning of the end
The rain fell in that hovel
In a sad murmur over the grass
The night advanced and I couldn't sleep
Now I knew that loving was like this
Finally, I surrendered to deep sleep
And the world's dawn fell upon me
I returned to the city, I stayed in agony
Until one day I found my love
I kissed the girl with all tenderness
And caressed that little face
Singing, she followed me on the path of life
On the flowery road that I showed her
Because she knows that now she's only mine
She's my queen and I'm her king
