Kaña
Zirrosis
Kaña
One night like so many
out partying in any city
we arrive at a nightclub
after closing the last bar
Just sticking my face in
a bouncer grabs me
and politely says
where the hell
are you going with that mop?
I tell him inside
and he tells me outside
'here, kid, to get in
you need some style'
He drags us out by force
and I tell him to fuck off
four or five more come out
and the party's over.
Kaña to those
who want to step on us
for our way
of dressing or thinking
Only from ignorance
does their intolerance feed.
Like fools they live
and so they shall die.
In a 'wonderful' town
shortly after playing
we look for a place
where we can grab a bite.
We stop at one
indecisive at the door
drooling at the sight
of people having dinner.
Some say go in
others say go out
and the son of a bitch owner
has already closed the door on us
I ask what the hell is going on
hitting the glass,
he comes out with four or five more
and the party's ruined.
Kaña to those
who want to step on us
for our way
of dressing or thinking
Only from ignorance
does their intolerance feed.
Like fools they live
and so they shall die.
These are just
two examples out of a million
that we could mention
This is the everyday fascism
that arises
as always from power.
Kaña to those
who want to step on us
for our way
of dressing or thinking
Only from ignorance
does their intolerance feed.
Like fools they live
and so they shall die.
