Luces De La Ciudad
Zona Ganjah
City Lights
How can I not feel abnormal
if you have no fucking idea what a Rastaman is
but with the patience of one who rests
canting to try to change this that doesn't progress.
And the days pass too quickly and I don't even realize
I try to make decisions before I regret
who is with ganjah counts me in and sits in the holy mount
and now they put a stop to anyone who tries and that pisses me off.
Let the city lights go out
I want to contemplate the sky, I want to look at something natural
and all those buildings are so tall they don't let you breathe.
Eternally grateful
for having found a musical note on the way
eternally grateful
for the one who protects me
coro:
Let the city lights go out
I want to contemplate the sky in its entirety
which is what I don't want if my eyes are sincere when looking
but then I realize I can't
Let the city lights go out
I want to see if from here I see what I seek in the sky
some comfort that falls to the ground but I can't spread it alone.
So help me brother and listen well
because it's never too late to repent before Him
who loves you with the one you love the most to offer you
if JAH Rastafari wants to give you eternal life.
Walking I am in Babylon dodging
taking care of what they call contraband
and meditating I keep rising
and I'm getting closer to the holy mount
don't ask me if everything is that much
you want to know then listen to what I sing
and you have no ounce of foolishness so change sides
and to avoid seeing so much nonsense every day I use my Ethiopia glasses
calm my life
that the red in the eye means we are on the right path
with calm my life
for on the other side awaits us the owner of all wisdom.
