Que Será de Mi

What Will Become of Me
What will become of me, in this city and its materialized evolution
I want to be happy, but my idea of being okay doesn’t compare to Babylon’s
Everything here is gray, here people are sick and live enslaved
And I want to leave, I want to break free and I’ll do it even if it’s the last thing I do
Rocky road but Jah guides me, in the way to find the exit
The Almighty wouldn’t leave me, we’re one in the struggle day by day
A new dawn, I open my eyes and receive the first blessing when I see
That there’s motivation, there’s still strength to try to change the situation
I know the mission is tough, but it’s not impossible, the key is to keep the conviction
And in positive vibes it’s essential, a smile strengthens the heart
I looked around, and I could see that from here my situation won’t change
To live better, here in Babylon no one will give me the solution
What will become of me, in this city and its materialized evolution
I want to be happy, but my idea of being okay doesn’t compare to Babylon’s
Everything here is gray, here people are sick and live enslaved
And I want to leave, I want to break free and I’ll do it even if it’s the last thing I do
With every step I take I’m rising higher
Strategically I’m moving with steady steps
Burning ganja to feel free like children
To make the wait lighter, no matter what
If I have to wait, it doesn’t drive me crazy
After all, the meadows are waiting for me
And here while I prepare, I don’t stop burning against the system that manipulates you
And keeps you enslaved, you’re really one of those who sacrifice to fill their pockets
Sometimes I fill mine too, what do you expect me to do? I spend it on this
And this will give me a way to one day break free from the system
I really wish I could, and what more do you want me to do?
What a good life I’d give you, let whoever wants to join me, to live off the land
What will become of me, in this city and its materialized evolution
I want to be happy, but my idea of being okay doesn’t compare to Babylon’s
Everything here is gray, here people are sick and live enslaved
And I want to leave, I want to break free and I’ll do it even if it’s the last thing I do
